Factor affecting employee absenteeism in Nepalese commercial banks Dev Kumar yadav Abstract This study examines the factor affecting employee absenteeism in Nepalese commercial banks. Employee absenteeism is the dependent variable. The independent variables are job satisfaction, health status, working condition, occupational stress, employee relation, and transportation problem. The primary sources of data are used to assess the opinions of the respondents regarding the factor affecting employee absenteeism in Nepalese commercial banks. The study is based on 124 respondents. To achieve the purpose of the study, a structured questionnaire is prepared. The regression models are estimated to test the relationship, significance, and importance of the factor affecting employee absenteeism in Nepalese commercial banks.
